We let our kids pick where they want to eat lunch and dinner on the day of their birthday. Because Ammon's birthday was Sunday this year, we went out on Saturday night and then I made dinner at our house and invited Jason's mom over to eat with us.
I asked Ammon where he wanted to go to dinner. He said "McDonalds!" 
I told him we should pick something nice and he replies, "Taco Bell?" I was hoping for Applebees, Chilis, or Olive Garden... anything but McDonalds. So... you guessed it.... we ended up at McDonalds for Ammon's birthday dinner.
