OOPS!

The other day Ammon got in trouble so I sent him upstairs to his room for a time-out. Later I went upstairs to put a load of laundry in and I found Ammon alseep at the top of the stairs. Oops! I completely forgot that I had sent him to time-out.

Has this ever happened to you??

We are up and running again!

So... my sweet neighbor has been working on my computer for the past week. However, he wasn't able to do anything about my hard drive. I completely over-rode my hard drive. But he was able to save me much mula. I have learned from this experience though... I know to trust my instincts when I feel like I should back-up my files, especially my picutres. He told me of a website I could go to where they house my files, up to 2 gigs. It is FREE. So... I share my new information with you. The website is called mozy.

**funny thing... I was just browsing through a few files and guess what?? I found a huge file of pictures. WOO HOO!!

Spending time with cousins

Taliana had to opportunity to stay with my brother (Todd) and his family in St. George for a week. She was spoiled by her Auntie Alesi and loved every minute of it. I know she had a blast playing with her cousins. We noticed that she turned at least 3 shades darker since she was down there. (she was blessed with GREAT skin - she tans in about 5 minutes. We all know she didn't get that great skin from me!) Taliana has been home for 2 days and is already asking when she can go back down and stay with Uncle Todd and Auntie Alesi. We'll see!

Here is Taliana showing her tricks.

the big CRASH!

Well... it finally happened. I swore it would never happen to me.... but it did! My computer crashed last week. I had a feeling all week long that I should really back up my files on my computer just in case anything happened. But of course I kept putting it off and putting it off. I had 3 years of pictures I had saved on my computer. Some have been saved on discs, but there were hundreds that I never put on discs. I knew this day would come. Doesn't everyone have a computer crashing experience?? I'm not upset that my computer crashed (I mean, it's just a computer), I'm just so mad at myself that I didn't back up my files, like I should have. Oh wells! I guess I will know for future experiences.

**Side note..... I have been getting a strong feeling of preparing our family food storage. Maybe I should act on the feeling and DO IT!! (Maybe this computer experience was preparing me for future disasters. hmmmmm. ) So far we have top ramen and canned tomatoes. We can live off that right??
