extra cash

I have been trying to think of ways I can earn extra cash without having to leave my kids more than I am doing now (working my two jobs).

We have found a place we would LOVE to move to. It is down the street from the kids' school. They can walk! Yeah!! They have been dreaming of walking to school ever since Taliana started Kindergarten in 2007. They will be close to their friends, but best of all it will cut out our 30 minute commute (round trip) 2 times a day (somethings 3 times a day - during soccer season) and 5 times a week. I may be the most excited about this part. However, since we will be moving to the "east" side, that means rent is much more expensive. It will be double of what we are paying now. I don't know if we will be able to afford it, but I'd really like it to work out. So... the point of my post today... I need to earn some EXTRA CASH!!

I've been brainstorming and I've always dreamed of selling homemade crafts. (ie. bows, headbands, hair clips, skirts, quilts, etc.). I know it will take a while to get things up and running, but this is what I want to do. I am just worried that no one will buy my stuff - since there is SO much out there (like on etsy.com). But I'm willing to give it a try. Wish me luck!
